  1. Long ago a travelling man used to come around the district in which I live.
    He was usually called Johnnie the Bottles.
    He used to go around from house to house and he would stay a night here and a night there.
    He used to be welcome in every house as he used to tell great stories.
    The reason why he was called Johnnie the Bottles was he used to be collecting bottles also horses hair.
    He used to sell pins and needles, hair-pins and laces, and clothes brushes and other small articles.
    The children used to be always looking out for him as he used to be always promising them he would bring them hurleys and footballs and other toys.
