    Knockenagh got its name from its numerous hills.
    There are eighteen families residing in it and about eighty people.
    The Walsh name is the most common.
    The majority of the houses are slated.
    There is a disused court-house in the district.
    Long ago there was a village with Church, Work-house, Police barracks in the district.
    There are a few old people living in this district also.
