  1. About ninety years ago there lived in Guhard a man of the Lyons.
    In those days there were no trains so the people used have to take their butter to Cork by road in a cart.
    This man's sons used to take the butter there.
    One time they made some mistake over the butter.
    He had to go with them himself to fix the mistake.
    When he had fixed the mistake that evening he started walking from Cork.
    He reached home about three o'clock.
    Then when he had dinner he thatched a cock of hay, and it was thought a great day's work by all the people.
