  1. About one hundred and seventy years ago there lived at Guhard a man of the Lyons who was my great-grandfather. Every day he used to be minding cows. One day he was sitting near a heap of stones minding them. Near him he saw a mouse come out from under the heap of stones with a sovereign in his mouth. He brought a great heap of them out and the last one he brought out he laid on top of the nest. Then he began drawing it piece by piece until he had the last piece taken into the hole under the stones.
