It is said if you put a part of a plough in the fire another person could not make her butter.

It is said if you put a part of a plough in the fire another person could not make her butter.
A woman in Kilgarvan making butter was at the churn for a long time one day.
She could not make the butter and she thought that there was someone preventing her from it.
At last the woman went to one of her neighbours and told them her story.
The neighbour told her to go back home and put the tongs across the fire and do her churning as anyone could not take coals.
She made her butter and from that on she could make her butter.
