    When the soldiers were looking for Our Saviour to kill Him, He walked through a field where a man was sowing wheat. His blood fell in great drops to the ground. Next day the soldiers passed the same way looking for Him. When the robin saw the soldiers coming it lay upon the very drop of blood that fell from Our Saviour and did not leave a trace of it for the soldiers to follow, and that is the reason the robin has a red breast.
