    cold, and the juice of the dock leaf is good for nettle burns. The old people used to boil nettles and eat them with gruel and many a meal they made of watercress.
    Nettles, dandelions and spearmint used to be boiled and the juice given to persons suffering from heart disease, and to those who were run down. Some herbs have been used to cure ringworm. A man in Reisk long ago was suffering from rheumatism. He made a bed of nettles for himself and lay in it till he was blistered all over. Then he pricked the blisters with a straight pin and he never had rheumatism afterwards. Nettles and
