    St John's Day.
    On the eve of St Johns Day the children make a bonefire in honour of St John. When the children are returning from the fire an old custom is that each one (an old custom is that) brings a coal with her and throws it in one of the fields where a [?] is set. The grown up boys and [girls?] make a larger fire at the cross-roads. They stay around the fire until late at night.
    St Martin's Day.
    The people always kill a cock and eat it for [their?] dinner on St Martin's Day. The [?]
