  1. Long ago a protestant man was working down in Glenmakee. His name was Campbell. He saw a priest coming towards him at a great pace.
    The priest said that the enemy was after him so the good man loosed out one of the horses he had been working with and set the priest on his back and sent him away at full gallop.
    The priest rode up through Glentogher and into Derry and escaped. The horse was not heard of after. A few minutes after the priests departure the hunters came along the same field on his track but he had made his escape. This family
