  1. There are two or three standing stones in our District. There is one in a field in Cashel. It was supposed to be put there by a giant who threw it from the top of Slieve Sneacht.
    The giant died. Before he died he wrote an inscription and placed it upon a little bottle that he had. Then he lay down and died.
