    stone the people made their own flour out of wheat and corn.
    When the people had the bread in the pan the put an + on it. When the bread harden a little they put it on a griddle. The people in olden times made the bread very hard.
    There is a story told about a man who came from England and he went into a house and the woman made him tea. She buttered the oat cake when the man went to eat the bread it was that hard that he licked the butter off and asked her where she got the plate.
