  1. A Song (continued)

On the Galtee Mór Mountains not far, far away, ¶ I'll tell you a story that happened one day, ¶ It's about a fair maiden her age was sixteen. ¶ And she sported the colours White, Yellow and Green.

    (continued from previous page)
    maid of sixteen,
Would die for the colours White, Yellow and Green.
    VI
On the very same day in sweet Tipperary town,
A bold Irish maid from the Galtee came down,
Her heart it was broken with anguish and pain,
For the very same day she would die for Sinn Féin.
    VII
All ye young men and maidens of Erin's green shore,
Give the ear for the girl from the bold Galtee Mór
And with her keep fighting the cause of Sinn Féin,
Till we make dear old Ireland a Republic again.
