    The garvy who was driving it

    to go from town to town."

    There never was such a wind
    before since little Christmas night
    And every cabin window glooms
    the blessed candle light
    And that is why no lives were
    lost at least 'tis what they say
    Since then the Irish always light
    the candle on the day.
