    One time there was a boy employed as a herd at a farm.

    On the second or third day after that the woman of the house was washing clothes. The boy came in and ran at a tubful of suds which was sitting on the floor and started to drink it. He was immediately put to bed and they saw that the nails of his boots were rusted. He got medicine and was all right in a day or so. When he became all right he told them that he saw them looking for him. He said that he was up on the top of the bush and he couldn't get down to them. This was the sort of the fairies used to play
