    If any strangers come in they would take a hand at the churning because it is said they would bring bad luck on the butter.
    It takes about an hour to do the churning. It is done by hand, by lifting the dash upwards and downwards in a rolling motion.
    We know when the butter is made by the churning getting lighter and we can see the thick flakes of butter coming to the top of the milk.
