The owner of the cows thought some-body was milking them. So the next morning he put them out and stayed with them till they were ready to come in. Just as it was time to bring them in two or three little fairies came out of the quarry and tan towards the cows. They went over and began to milk them but before they man got over to the cows they had them milked and back to the quarry again.
The butter milk is used for baking bread, drinking and it is given to calves, pigs and fowl for drinking.
