    and he would stay inside because he too was overcome by foul air, but he was brought out by the people.
    One night three men were going home after being at a funeral.
    They were on horse-back and they were passing the cave at midnight.
    They stopped to give their horses a drink, and they heard music under their feet.
    One man leaned over across the well and his watch fell out of his pocket.
    He did not miss it until he was gone a long distance.
    He turned back to get the watch but rest rode away.
    When he reached the well he saw a woman dressed in white sitting by the well.
    He said to her that it was a late hour to be out and she said it was a later hour for him.
