- 8) In the bog known as "Pollglas" or the bog of the yellow hole" there is sopposed to be a big dump of guns & also ammunition which were hidden by the Fenians though no one yet has come across them. One man got a barrell of a gun. It was a muzzle loader.

They did ambush the goods and they had a great feast in spite of the others. The pretended they put the goods into a boat and let it sail down the Shiven.
