    The people used to have to go to Ballina for stuff and when they used to be coming home people used to follow them to get some meal and steal it if they could.
    There was an old woman in the village who had a bag of meal and one night for fear she would waste a grain of it she left it on the table in the room. when she got up in the morning the meal was gone and she did not know where it was gone to.
