  1. In this locality the following list is some signs believed by people concerning the weather:-
    When the swallows are flying low its a sign of rain and when they fly high it denotes dry weather.
    A ring around the moon is a sign of snow
    The ducks quak loudly when its going to rain
    When you hear the wild geese chirping, when the distant hills look nigh, when the wild geese flow inland when the soot comes down the chimney, when corns and bunions begin to ache all those signs denote rain.
    When the stars are bright and the night is cold its a sign of frost. When the cows are in a cluster its going to rain. When its very close and the clouds are red its like thunder. When the night is bright and the clouds morning quickly its a sign of a storm. A copper colour sunset denotes rain
