  1. I
My name is unfortunate Robert Mc Keon
Round the Sweet Conuty Leitrim I'm very well.
I never did any bad action before.
Till that fatal day at the fort of Shee.
    II
I own I often did Squire Reynolds abuse.
And his decent character did often abuse.
Which caused himt o send me a challenge.
To meet him next day at the foot of Shee.
    III
So early next morning at the break of day.
My brother and I we both did repair,
But ere to the critical spot we drew near.
Squire Reynolds and Plunkett they both did.
    IV
Squire Reynolds saluted with a sweep smile of.
A well loaded pistol I discharged in his face(?)
Athree cornered slug I left louged in his brain(?)
So at base disadvantage Squire Reynolds slain.
