  1. When the Holy Family were on a journey trying to hide from Herod, one day they met two men with beards who threatened to kill them.
    Saint Joseph asked the men to spare them and he would not forget them. The men said they would not spare them because they thought they were spies.
    Immediately the two men ran about twelve yards to get two sticks and when they came back the Holy Family were gone.
