  1. I'll sell my rack and I'll sell my reel,
When the flax is out I'll sell my wheel,
I'll buy my love a sword and shield,
'Gus go bhfillfidh tú, go bhfillfidh tú slán.
    Siubhail, Siubhail, siubhail a ghrádh,
Siubhail go socair agus siubhail go tráth,
Since the lad of my heart from me did go,
Gus go bhfillfidh tú, go bhfillfidh tú slán.

Níl aon tigh tabhairne ná caráiste cómhail (?) le h-Éirinn
