Allta Dearg:- The people say that it was all full with blood at on etime, and that is why, it is called Allta Dearg.
"Buile" The people used bring in their cows here long ago, and milk them there.
Bing:- This is a very high hill where the goats used to be.
Crán na Gabhair:- This is a place the goats used never leave except very seldom. Thus it got its name.
Cnoc na gCarraigh:- This hill got its name because there used be many sheep grazing on it.
Ben borrach:- It got its name beacuse it is a big high rock.Gortteeth:- It is said that all the fields and crops in this village was once covered with a flood and that is how it got its name.(continues on next page)
