Stewed dandelions are supposed to be good for several stomach complaints
Limewater is good for burns.
Cold tea is often used on sore eyes.
For bloodshot eyes a rotten apple was tied up in a thin cloth or handerchief, and was placed over the eye. The juice of the apple was allowed to soak into the eye.
The cure for whooping - cough is to get a change of air. The old people always went into a cave for the change of air.
