  1. About ten years ago there lived an old woman named Besie Gandlie. She always carried her bed and went barefooted Summer and Winter. She went from house to house begging and she was never refused for she was very decent. She continued this travelling for many years and then she was getting very old and stiff so one snowy night she took shelter under a rock and in the morning she was got unconscious by a man named Pat Doherty. She was sent Mohill hospital where she died.
