  1. There was a football match held over thirty years ago between Fenagh and Ballyconnell in Master Murphy's field of Fenagh.
    The teams were picked from the best kickers twenty one in each team. The Fenagh team won. They won by one goal one point. They wore green jerseys and yellow trousers. There was no refereeing done and no goal posts used. They kicked the ball from one ditch to the other.
