    Lord Leitrim
    You men of Tipperary
    Did ya hear from Donegal
    Where Rory and his gallant men
    Proved Lord Leitrim's sad downfall
    It being on the second of April
    In the year of '78
    Hope the youths of Ireland
    Will remember of that date
    Lord Leitrim said that morning
    Come put the horses to
    Not fearing that untimely death
    To him was so long due
