  1. My fathers farm is situated in the town-land of Attymanus in the parish of Mohill in the district of Eslin.
The names of the meadows are the hollow-bank, the rock meadow, the fort, and the long meadow.
The names of the fields are the black park, the high gardens, eadhen mór, Carrs- field, raph, ferbullie, the round hill and MacManuses field, Clash.
We call the meadow the hollow bank because it is a hollowed meadow, and the rock meadow because there is a quarry in it and there is a fort in the middle of the meadow.
We call one of the hills the round hill, because it is a round one, and Carrs field because there lived in it a man named Carr.
Another field is called Mac Manuses field because there lived in it a man named Mac Manus.
There is another field called Clash because it is a wet one.
