    On the Dromod Mohill road between Dromod and the Railway Station.
    This conflagration was known as the "Second Drumcollgher" as it occurred soon after and under similar circumstances
    Date
    15th August 1927
    At about 2am in the morning of August 15th 1927 while about 400 between boys and girls were dancing in a top floor of an egg store of my Fathers. A fire broke out in a shed attached to the egg store.
    There were no way to escape except through a small window and on a narrow step ladder.
    Amongst they things destroyed were 300 egg cases a ton of meal a ton of flour testing lamp 30 egg trays 2 tables a side car straw and the band.
    Someone went up and the Guards wife out of Ruskey in a faint on the top of the stairs Not far from her was the dog
