  1. About seventy years ago, there was a fairy fort belonging to Mrs. Barrett, at Ballydeary, Backs Co. Mayo. Every night at twelve o clock fairies were seen in this fort. They used to be singing and dancing.
    There were a lot of trees growing in this fort. After sometime Mrs. Barrett got the trees cut, and after that the fairies were never to be seen again.
