    One night about 40 years ago a man named William Bourke of Ballymacredmond, Backs, Co. Mayo was playing cards in Mr. Cawley's house Knockmore, Backs, Co. Mayo.

    One night about 40 years ago a man named William Bourke of Ballymacredmond, Backs, Co. Mayo was playing cards in Mr. Cawley's house Knockmore, Backs, Co. Mayo. He stayed in this house until 3 o' clock in the morning, and when he was coming near Mr. Scott's house he saw a pig walking beside him.
    It walked with him until he came to the gate owned by Mr. Scott, and then it turned into a turkey cock. When William saw this he got afraid, and said to himself, "This does not look very good." This bird seemed to be very big, and the man knew that it was not seen before. The bird disappeared, and then the man thought he was
