  1. One day a woman was going to Killala to do some shopping. In those olden times the country was full of robbers. The people used to ride on donkeys. A robber lived in a cave called Robber's Cave which is situated about two miles to the north of Killala. The cave was in a hill along the road but it is nearly all closed in now. As the woman was passing the cave the robber ran out before her. He then told her to get off the donkey. Then he grabbed the woman's purse and asked her, had she got any more money. A few men were coming up the road,
