    "Cocsil" would not be very successful "Cocsil" making was a trade in itself and a very profitable one. There was a "Cocsil" factory in almost every townland.

  2. As much as half dozen eggs were eaten by every individual on Easter Sunday morning. Light bannocks of oat bread were eaten on Shrove Tuesday night. All these customs cease to exist at the present time and nobody eats more than one egg on Easter morning.
