  1. There are three graveyards in the parish of Kinlough. One of them is situated about two hundred yards from Kinlough on the road ledding from Kinlough to Garrison. and the othor is around the Catholic Church and the third stands half way between Kinlough and the Parochial House. The name of the graveyards in which the people of this district bury is called Oakfield. It dates back for over three hundred years and our ancestors were all put to rest there who lived since the seventeenth century
