  1. Local Roads
The road running by this school is called "The Dartry Road". It begins at Kimbrough (Ceannloca) and runs east between Lough Melvin and the Dartry Mountains. It is called the Dartry Road because it passes through the district known locally as Dartry which companies the following townlands in the extreme north-eastern corner of the parish of Kimbrough: Rosslogher, Gurteendarragh, Gortnasillagh, Aughaderrard, Aughavohill, Buckode, Stracom, Ganvagh, Knockenroe, Bomahe, Larroboy, Gubanumaine & Glack.
