    There are no tailors in the district and from inquiries made I find there never were except a travelling tailor who stayed in a house when a suit of clothes was needed. His name was Dan Connolly or Dan the tailor as he was locally known. He did not carry cloth about with him as it was made in almost every house then. A homespun handsown suit was regarded as the best article and one which would wear well.
