  1. 1. God bless Friday for it was on Good Friday our Saviour was crucified. The cruel Jewes as they stood by pierced our Saviour from Heart to Hand and His Blessed Mother she stood by with her mournful talk and dismal cry.
Anyone says this prayer three times by day and three times by night the gates of Hell they never shall enter or die in mortal sin or anyone belonging to them.
    2. As I lie down on my right side,
I pray to God to be my guide.
    If any vengeance happens me,
    Oh Blessed Lady awaken me.
There are four corners on my bed.
There are four angels o'er it spread.
    Mathew, Mark, Luke and John
God bless the bed that I lie on.
This prayer is to be said when going to sleep at night.
