  1. O Lurganboy is a pretty place its equal can't be found
You could not match its scenery in all the country round
Near Lurganboy there lives a maid of beauty & renown
Her matchless make, it suits the place, she's the maid of sweet Milltown
    II
It was in Manorhamilton this fair one I first seen
Her beauty rare did me ensnare, I thought she was the queen
As she passed me by she looked so shy at the bridge beside the town
If I had gone home that evening with the maid of sweet Milltown
    III
Oh was I Lord of Breffini, to suit this maiden fair
I'd make Lurganboy a seafood town & sail to Dromahair
I would have he said on fair Lough Gill and down to Sligo town
If I could gain that matchless maid, she's the maid of sweet Milltown
    IV
It's on Benbo lofty mountain, a castle great & grand.
I'd build for her that she might view all over Ireland
She could view the shore of Erin from Cork to the Co Down
If I could gain that matchless maid, she's the maid of Sweet Milltown.
