  1. In a place called Loch Rinn in the parish of Mohill, it is said that there are three bags of gold hidden, and that they were put there by the Norsemen. You cannot get the gold until you get three white horses without as much as three white hairs.
    One time some person got three white horses and went to get the gold. He got one bag of gold over the water but it fell back again. The horses that he had were not the right ones. There were more than three black hairs in them and so he could not get the gold.
