    My name is unfortunate told Robert Mckeon,

    My name is unfortunate told Robert McKeon,
    Through the sweet County Leitrim my name is well known.
    I never did any bad action before,
    Until that fatal day at the Foot of Sheemore.
    II
    Myself and my brother we consulted night and day,
    For to take the life of Squire Reynolds away.
    (Young Reynolds he approached us with a most smiling grace.
    But a well loaded pistol I did charge in his face)
    He sent us a challenge on that very night.
    That he was free willing but unable to fight.
    III
    We loaded our pistols at the break of the day.
