    went on his business, but it wasn't successful. The next night he was going on the bit of business again, and the same thing happened. The business wasn't successful either that night. When he was coming home that morning, the two doors of his house was open, so he went in and he saw a little fairy man in the room. He went up to the room, but the fairy man disappeared and he missed four chairs gone out of the room. The next night he didn't go anywhere but went to bed and about 12 oc a voice came to the window and said. "All your troubles are over". He was hardly out of bed the next morning, when the man he was doing the business with, came into the house and said that everything was all right. That day when he was passing by Garry's fort he got his four chairs in it.

  2. In the townland of Corroneary there is a tall single stone in a field. This stone has always borne the name of "the big man". And all the tradition about the stone is that the "big man" is buried there. About two or three hundred years ago there went round a man through the country
