  2. There was an old castle in Rockfort about 60 years ago. People named Sheridans owned it. The ruins of the castle is there still. The land was divided amongst the Kilvive people who owned small holdings. James Heneghan who lives there yet was herding for Mr Sheridan.

  3. There was a castle belonging to Blakes in Dunmacreena. People lived there about 55 years ago. The walls of the castle fell.

  4. There is an old graveyard in Kilvine. It is about ninty years old. It is about two years ago since anybody was buried there
