    There was a little woman was looking for a boul (bowl) of mail (meal(.

    There was a little woman was looking for a boul (bowl) of mail (meal). She came back with it in a few days again. She emptied it into the barrel, the wee woman. She towl (told) Mrs MacDermott of Meenanilt not to let any of the men luk into the barrel. The men began to think that the mail was doin' less the time an' wan (one) of the men luked (looked) in an' then the mail went away. If the woman had not let the men luk in the barrel of mail it wud (would) have lasted for lang (long) inough (enough).
