    One time there came an owl (old) woman dressed on rid (red).

    One time there came an owl woman dressed in rid (red) to Jim Brown's o'Meenticat. She asked her a dish of mail (meal) an' they give (gave) it to her. About six days after she come back te pay back the mail. She took sick in Brown's an' they had te sen' for the priest an' docter (doctor). They were tauking of money te pay the docter an' the wee woman towl thim te luck in the corner o' the windey (window). They lucked (looked) an got a wiel (wild) lot o' money an' they wur niver poor since.
