    There is a house in Meenagrave owned by Thomas Kerrigan.

    There is a house in Meenagrave owned by Thomas Kerrigan.
    One days a long time ago, while old Mrs Kerrigan was putting on a fire she thought she heard someone knocking at the door.
    The old woman called "come in" and a little woman scarce four feet high entered the kitchen.
    She was clad in a red cloak, a white woolen cap and a pair of black boots.
    She stood at the door and asked for money but old Mrs Kerrigan refused and said she had none. Then the old woman became very angry and told her there was a sixpence in an egg-stand on the dresser.
    Old Mrs Kerrigan approached the dresser and sure enough she got a sixpence in an eggstand and gave it to her. The little woman thanked her and walked out of the door.
