A Story
“One night Johnny Kelly was visiting old Mrs Scanlan of Largnalore.”
One night Johnny Kelly was visiting old Mrs Scanlon of Largnalore as she was very ill. Johnny said he would go home through the hill as it was almost night and it would not take long. When he was crossing a burn about fifty yards from the house, he heard a pitiful crying, and just then he thought of the dying woman he had left. He started to run and was almost speechless when he got home.
