  1. One time there was an old woman who was very poor. A little woman in red called one day and the old woman told her about her poverty. The little woman told her to look in her shoe every morning and she would get a shilling but to keep the matter secret.
Every morning afterwards there was a shilling in the shoe. She forgot the fairy's warning and told a neighbour and the money stopped immediately.
