  1. On Mr Rankin's farm the Cloon Carrigans there is a field called the Coach Road It is on the left hand side of the road between the Five Cross Roads and Boak's Corner This is a part of the old stage coach road that ran from Derry to Dublin
    On Mr Stevenson's farm Derrymore Carrigans there is a part of the same road in very good condition It is on the of the hill to north of Derrymore farm house and is known as The Glen
    Excepting that it is almost overgrown with bushes it is practically the same as when the coaches ran on it
