  1. One of the games we play at school. We play a game at school called "Green Gravel". The people all catch hands and go round in a ring singing "Green Gravel", "Green Gravel" the grass is so green the prettiest maiden that ever was seen I washed her and dried her and rolled her in silk and wrote down her name with a glass pen and ink. Dear Peggy Dear Peggy your true love is dead and I send you a letter to turn round your head. Then all the people turn round their heads.
